Jivan Gasparyan announced the opening of a Duduk class at the Gnessin School within the framework of the “Christmas gathering 2018”. The project aims to introduce duduk to the world with a new approach – as a musical instrument played for performing international classical masterpieces. As an essential part of the Armenian cultural heritage, the project’s main goal is to popularize the “singing apricot tree” of Armenia among children and youth.
The educational program includes master classes from Maestro Jivan Gasparyan Sr. and from Gasparyan Jr. The first master class with the participation of Jivan Gasparyan Sr. and Gasparyan Jr. was held on November 9, 2019.
